Hints, Linnnn:
The sand is ground quartz.
It barks at you when you walk on it, and is so white it sometimes confuses me... makes me think I need a coat/jacket.
There is virtually no tide here.
And it's just down the road from "The luckiest fishing village in the world."
Got a guess?

I would guess Destin, but the gulf shouldn't be that blue that far north.

It's called "The Emerald Coast".
I've been to most of the beaches in Florida and in my opinion, none compare with the beaches of South Walton County...
Destin, Miramar, and Grayton.
Depending on the sun, the water can be deep bluegreen to Milky greenish-white. It can be four or five different colors simultaneously.
Extraordinary.

Beautiful but I'll still take Lake Superior - where the sand also barks when you walk in it and you can be standing in five feet of water and still see your toes perfectly...
