I believe that in order to register to vote a person should be required to take a general knowledge test.
it's sad knowing that the next 4 years of MY life will be affected from the ignorance of people like the ones in that recording.
I agree cj, god help us all.

still loving your blog!

Are we really surprised? These types of interviews play out on late night talk shows all the time. When you got a show that asks "are you smarter than a fifth grader?" then obviously there's a problem.

I'm sorry folks but this isn't new.

Greybeard said...

Once again I'll plead stupidity...
The fact that "this isn't new"...
That makes the fact that some genuinely ignorant person's vote cancels mine out okay?
Explain that to me, Rodolfo.

No,wait.
I know what you're gonna say before you say it.

And Helimx...

GB-There's idiots in both camps. Are you implying that there are no idiots in your camp that won't *cancel out* someone's vote from the Democrats? This post and others is an attempt to paint *all* Obama supporters as ignorant and it's no better than a guy like Bill Maher trying to paint *all* religious folks as nutty.

You need to stop all this ACORN registering to vote crap. Every single report that I've read says the allegations are way overblown.

You want multiple registrations. I am registered to vote in four separate places. I have moved so often in the last three years of my life that my name is registered in four separate counties. Am I committing voter fraud? Nope, BECAUSE I'M ONLY GOING TO VOTE IN ONE PLACE.

If I tried to vote in all four counties, THEN I would be committing voter fraud. Get it straight and stop whining about inconsequential crap.

Know what FF?
You can be stupid and offensive without even knowing it sometimes.
We're not talking at all about the situation you describe, are we?!!
If they don't get this under control, it will undermine the power of the next administration, no matter who is elected.

"Inconsequential crap"?
Get your head outta your ass.

Greybeard said...

The FBI is on the case.

Note-
The don't say they are investigating "inconseguential crap".
They use the word "Fraud", as in felony.

200,000 questionable registrations in the battleground state of Ohio is hardly inconsequential crap.

Hey, GB - I have a question I'd like to ask you via email Could you drop me a line at cinjinn at hotmail dot com?

FF, CJ, and others:
The thing that caused my ire here is not the 200,000 phony voter registrations...
It's the fact that with early voting in Ohio, they've already found some actual voting fraud related to the phony registrations.
Inconsequential crap?
Being able to trust that your vote is sacred...
That your vote will go to elect representatives that will actually "represent" you...
Knowing that at its core, the system is FAIR...
That is what is fundamental, and is the foundation for our whole constitutional system.
It's coming apart because ignorant people cannot see the dangerous game being played.
Want a new revolution? Truly?
You may see one sooner than you think.
