Musings about life through the eyes of an old helicopter pilot.
I just saw him on Fox news not five minutes ago. He was in a radio studio, all cleaned up with a fresh haircut and astonished that he'd been "discovered".Funny, I came to my computer right after that to catch up with my fellow bloggers and you have this posted.
AP story - Cleveland Cavaliers offered him a job.http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2011/01/05/cavaliers-offer-homeless-radio-man-job-home/
What an amazing voice! Hopefully, this will have a truly happy ending - as in no returning to the drugs. It's a nice post-Christmas story, that's for sure.cjh
I'll be watching him Fri morning on Fox and Friends--3-6 am pst
he was on Dr Phil this week, things weren't as rosy as I had hoped for this guy. He got into a fight with his daughter after the show because he was drunk on his ass. Almost arrested, Dr Phil had him on the show again the next day and confronted him about his ongoing drinking problems and finally convinced him to go into rehab. I hope he makes it. His story would make a great movie. It just needs a happy ending.
