Musings about life through the eyes of an old helicopter pilot.
Boooooooo!Just kidding. Congratulations on the new tourer. I'm envious...Robin barely consented to letting me have one, and I have no chance whatsoever of adding a second bike to my herd...unless I can pitch it somehow as being "her" bike.Reckon she'd fall for a new spaghetti rocket if I put a bow on it and brought it home on her birthday?P.S. You still should go test ride a R3, even if you aren't in the market for one, just for fun. I'll bet you 10 bucks you won't be able to suppress a big grin when you pull back into the parking lot.Now post a pic of that new slab burner.
I say again....
I'll keep ya in mind, O.M..Right now I'm thinkin' I need a small bike in my stable...Maybe something in the 500cc range.Billy Joel's MV50, mentioned in that earlier post? A Honda transverse V-Twin Silverwing water-cooled 500?I'm still looking for the perfect bike for my 32 mile commute to work!If I decide to let Pizza Bike go, you'll be the first to know!(It's a good 'un.)
This is how a bike shop is born......
My riding buddy came back from a 2000+ mi. roll around America on his Fatboy Harley. Went to Coyote, N.M., Mexican Hat, UT., Four Corners and all over. We'll be goin next year. Your invited.
Jess, I'll take you up on that offer, if only for a part of the journey. And it's my wager we could probably interest others in doing it too.Give us all fair warning.
