The Angle

Al Gore has figured out how to do it.
So has the leader of the U.N. group on "climate change", (formerly known as Global Warming).
By default, I suspect President Obama will benefit somewhere down the road, if only in campaign donations.
What's the angle?
How do the rest of us become millionaires... (In Gore's case, BILLIONAIRE?), using this fraudulent scheme as a vehicle?
My initial effort was apparently too open and honest!
(I need to go to "Snake Oil Salesman" school!)

GB,
You may know already that there is a man who has a business renting Christmas Trees. LIVE ONES! People rent these trees because they can't stand to cut a real tree down and have it die in their house. SO, after Christmas the man comes back and gets the balled, live Christmas tree and plants them at schools, parks, etc. for $10. each. From the picure of the tree it looks about 2-3 ft. tall. I can't remember how much he charges to rent a tree.

Just thought you should know and think about this a while.

It's such a fraud. NOTHING about that science is immured in stone. I find nothing that PROVES "Global Warming" is indisputably man-made.

Carbon credits? THAT should be attacked like your worst Ponzi Scheme.

GB,
Don't bother me. I'm out back digging up the trees! Can't wait to rake in the $$ from the Tree Huggers.

Christmas trees here are going for $100 now. All of 4 feet tall.

Good Grief, GH! Have you got a little spot you could start some growing? You're a Valley Girl, you can grow great Christmas Trees.

I wish I did Bo. They import a large majority of them and during inspection if there are any bugs, they pack them up and send them back. We had several loads returned this year.
At that price I think I would rather go buy a real tree and then plant it.

Oh my gosh! They sent cut down Christmas trees BACK?...why they are sure to be dead by the time they get "back" from whenceforth they came.

My Greenie friends will have to be sent to the rest home to recover if they hear about those trees.

Yep, our system here is so fragile that they have to check containers and flights for invasive species. Christmas trees being a major problem. They send some back every year.
