Thanks for the video, and I'm sure the actual figure will be argued to distract us from the fact that the march had to happen at all. Disturbing comment from the White House was that these folks didn't vote for Obama anyway. Interviews with Congressmen and Senators show they still think the other party is to blame. Those in government, especially in the D.C. bubble are in for a 'rude awakening'. This is not business as usual.

YOU LIE!!!

Actually, Flightfire, it was Nancy Pelosi and her cadre that first started floating the two million number.

And inflating the numbers for gatherings in DC was perfectly fine for the Million Man/Mom march...

The article I saw quoted DC law enforcement people - I have no idea why anyone would consult fire fighters about the size of a crowd when it's the cops who work crowd control...

Thanks so much for finally noticing that lies matter. I'm hopeful you'll start calling your elected reps and complaining about all the whoppers we're hearing lately!
The size of this crowd is irrelevant.
They're all friends of mine and I feel better. You're too young to know it yet, but someday you'll be grateful.
Thanks once again for your illuminating comment.

I seldom watch CNN, but found this while doing my morning reading. A great interview to explain why...

I have no clue as to how many people were actually there, but I was stunned by the number as evidenced by the video.

If the left wants to believe there were only 10k or even 100k and they want to dismiss this CROWD, they are going to be shocked come election time.

I was extremely encouraged to see this huge turnout.

Btw, did you see Rick Santelli's remarks on CNBC? He was on another tirade, this time complaining about the news channels not reporting news and they asked him about this TeaParty. It was hilarious.
