Just Seven Months Ago-

Rodolfo, remember him? Seven months ago he said,
"This socialism diatribe is a stunt. You need to understand what *future* I'm talking about. I'm not talking about any specific policy. I'm talking about the new generation of voters that's sick and tired of the partisan divide that has dominated the political discourse by you, GB, and your equivalence on the far-left."

Flightfire, remember him? Six months ago he said,
"You need to stop all this ACORN registering to vote crap. Every single report that I've read says the allegations are way overblown."

Seen the news lately boys?
Tell us again... who did you vote for?
And how much debt do you now find yourself responsible for?

When even Pravda declares we're going socialist, you know it must be true.

American capitalism gone with a whimper (http://english.pravda.ru/opinion/columnists/107459-0/): "It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people."

I've wondered how Rodolfo was feeling these days about The One... but if he's like most of the people in this country, he's probably still thrilled...

Have you been following O'Reilly and Beck's investigation into Acorn? Scary stuff. Can we say old school corruption?

Dollars to donuts neither one of those two boys will come back here and apologize for calling us liars.

*sigh* i check in here once in a while and found it odd to see that quote because I still stand by it. i've written some dumb things on this blog no doubt but i have absolutely no regrets for my support for BHusseinO. in my view he was the best candidate to lead my country after these last eight years. it'd be a stretch by anyone to say that our economic situation would be any different today had McCain won.

I'm willing to be patient and give Obama and the new mgmt time to implement their plans. If it doesn't work out then my vote in 2012 would go for someone else. It's just that simple.

The politics of the moment interest me very little these days. Everything gets old after a while i guess. I hope you and your family as well as your loyal readers are doing well. I consider myself lucky to be able to read blogs and comment especially in times like these when other people are hurting. Sometimes i forget but I really should count my blessings more often.

Good luck and take care.

Thanks for popping in, Rodolfo. And thanks for the kind words. Have you found work?

I have two questions for you:
Are you surprised to find the fears we expressed about Obama's Socialist leanings were true?
And please, tell me how the man has acted to unify the country.
Are you even more sick and tired of the partisan divide and bickering? ("We won!")
I certainly am.

Just a side note, R - I didn't vote for McCain, either.

I sure as heck didn't want BHO in the office, though. I knew he would bring Chicago-style politics, cronyism, and "ethics" to the Oval Office. Didn't expect him to make such a wild swing towards socialism within the first hundred days, though.
