Six Years of "Pitchpull"

After reading the blogs of others for a couple years, I overcame my anxiety and sorted through how to start a blog six years ago at a dining room table in Destin Florida, overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. I named that liftoff "Pitchpull".
It's been an interesting trip for me. I thank those of you who come here often to catch up on my latest "mind-droppings", and to those of you who are motivated to leave comments about my posts and have discussions with other commenters, agree or disagree... I thank you even more.

When I started leaving my thoughts here I made the comment, "Those not reading Blogs don't know what's happening in the world." That statement was true then, and with our media choosing to report only the news that fits their agenda, it's true today.

Thank God for the internet.
Thank God for Blogs.
Since April 26th, 2005...
Thank you for stopping by.

Thank you for posting! I have been (mostly) a lurker for about 3 or 4 years now, and I have to say I have enjoyed it very much. Due to the constraints of my job, I don't often have time to reply (also, job politics discourages me from commenting in a way that is easily traced back to me), but I know that I can come here to read your insights. I never know if your updates will be political, personal, or emotional in nature, but I want to thank you for being so frank and open with all of us.

Thank you once again. And, until next time I remain, unfortunately, anonymous.

Thanks for writing. I drop by occassionally.
(Former commercial rotor-wing pilot who woke up one day & realised he's now been in a non-aviation ground job for quite some years.)

Interesting Steve.
At your blog I entered "Helicopter" in the search block, then clicked on the little magnifying glass.
Not only have you been out of the business a while, you've left no trail, man!
I'd be interested to hear your story and why you quit flying for $$$$.

Thank you for your aviation posts, it has been interesting to gain some insight into the world of EMS helicopter Ops.

CONGRATULATIONS for having the heart to PERSEVERE.

I, for one, know that blogging is actual HARD WORK and isn't for the faint of heart -- at least, if you want to hold a blog more than a few months. Stats indicate that the BULK of blogs don't last more than one month. The greater percentile of blogs become ABANDONED.

Love your view, your maturity, your insight. Don't let the bastards wear you down. I've been on the net, on my blog, since 2004.

Being on the web since 2005 is also quite astounding!
