Do you know if either of those sets of figures include the cost of the Iraq war, which Bush didn't put in the budget and Obama has pledged not to hide? I looked at the link you referenced but didn't readily see the source of the figures.
The cost of the war is presently in the ballpark of 600B, which if added to the figures on the left would greatly change the visual impact of the chart.
(Not being a smarta**, just asking the question; if you could provide more info I would like to read it)
I don't know the answer to that question John, and you're right, it's worth pursuing. But I'm damned tired of the lies... Saying he inherited this mess from President Bush when we've had a democrat congress for 2 years plus now! Who controls the purse strings?
