Herding With The R22

Obviously a skilled pilot, but how long do you think it will be before he balls it up?

He "wears" the thing, rather than "flies" it, doesn't he?!
An interesting question, Capt.
Although this machine is painted nice and looks to be in good shape, many of these herding ops will come to the U.S. and buy run-out R22's for this job. They then fly them like this until they ball them up or something finally breaks on the poor bird. (It says a great deal about the crashworthiness of the machine that we don't hear about many fatalities.) When the little bird breaks, they abandon it and get another. I guess the outback is littered with the carcasses of old R22's.

Wow...I wonder what Frank has to say about those types of manmouevers...I didn't see any low G pushovers but still, poor little Robbie. I also wonder if the guy flying the machine knows that it is timed out. Thanks for the video GB.
