LOL, he DOES have a point! Talked to one of the Rolling Thunder riders today, his PAINT was almost $15K (it is a beautiful tribute bike)...

Not the way I treat my Kaw...

Yeah, I understand and agree with his point. But even though you can... should you treat your machine that way?

I've seen some like that too, Navy.
Pure artwork.

Hi GB,

Things can go south in a hurry.

He sure got me thinkin'. I wonder if the brake lever and mirror stood up to that punishment...

If he got on it and rode away I might be convinced to get one as a Zombie Apocalypse escape bike. Meanwhile, I have no desire to give up Moon Shine's comfort and speed for the smooth pavement and perfectly graded curves of the Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas FM roads. I've dumped her over in a white rock parking lot once and picked her up without a scratch on her or me (just my pride was bruised) and rode away...fast!

That aside:

I bought a "new" 2010 Yamaha TW200.

I've ridden bikes from 2.3 liters to 50ccs.

The smaller bikes have, generally, been the most damned fun.

My TW200 is the most fun on a bike I've had in, literally, over a decade.
