Amen, brother. I remember being embarrassed to be an American during Carter, but this is something completely different. I'm more worried than anything.
Sack up and cover your brothers' six, friends. Worry salts no fish - make sure your bug-out bag is good for a week, and keep your situational awareness set on high. Pray it is not us who nourishes the tree of liberty, but be prepared to.
Man, you are prescient! Friend Terry gave me a bug-out bag yesterday, partially equipped. I'm in the process of putting necessities in it now. Everyone... be prepared.
I have never and will never be unhappy about being an American. It is my country. It is my life. I will give the latter before I leave or lose the former.
I may not always be happy about the way things are going. I may cry for change. I may act in accordance with the rights granted me by the constitution of the United States of America. Many years ago I stood in a MEPs station and swore to defend this country from enemies foreign AND domestic. I swore that oath before God and I didn't do it lightly. It wasn't a temporary oath and I am still bound by it. I will not cower. I will not hide. I will not leave.
If they continue to destroy my country I'll be right on their ass the whole time.
It's a bag you can grab as you go out the door containing extra magazines/ammo, first aid kit, flashlight, batteries, extra socks and underwear, granola bars and other necessities you might want to have when the fecal material starts whizzing around, TN.
oh my - i think mine may have to include a bottle of wine and a cork screw. hope you all are wrong and it is not going to get as bad as all that. although at times it does look like we could be seeing the beginning of a new revolution. won't have the ammo since dh says we can't have the item the ammo goes in.

Keep safe. Keep well.

I think we're all with Jinksto on this one - if this country does go down, we will all go down fighting.
We all love this land far too much for it to be any other way.
