Nothing against the amazing versatility of the helicopter and those who pilot them, but...
Seems to me that a few well aimed missiles or RPGs would do the job much cheaper and safer. Until now I've never heard of a helicopter being used as a wrecking crane.

Have to say I'm curious why a single climber couldn't be dropped from the hill top and place some explosive to do the same job? One man / hike to the top / lower to the rock face / put explosive in cracks / climb up top again / and blow the thing down. Case closed. Bump

I might be mitsaken, but the wrecking ball looked a little small -- or was it so dense that it was at the envelope of the weight rating?
And I'm wondering the same thing as Bump. . .

I just find it hard to believe this is a job you wouldn't want.
It looks pretty cool to me.
