On the set of "52 Pick Up" I felt a small hand rest on my shoulder. I turned around and there was Ms.Ann looking up at me, all five feet of her. She smiled, I melted, she spoke- "How long do you think before they need me again?" "Oh probably not for at least an hour, we have to turn around and pull that wreck off the bridge and then set the shot." "Production told me they would be ready in fifteen minutes, that's why I always ask crew guys, they always know what's goin on." She gave me a wink, turned and walked away and, I melted some more. She by far (outside of Michael Cain and Dustin Hoffman) is one of the sweetest people in the Biz.
She sure had the goods back in the day, though. What amazes me is the fact that she can sit on that bike flat-footed and she's such a small gal. Not sure what model MG that is, but it must be tiny.
I'm not sure when they started making the "small block" Guzzi, Tim, but that almost has to be a 750cc bike. And you're right... She sure "had the goods" then. But she's STILL a class act. You've no doubt read about her comments about "her men" from the Viet Nam era. I'd put my cape in a puddle for her to walk across any day! And Rita, you took an interesting direction there... I was thinking of her "landing" gear, which as a dancer, may STILL be in pretty decent shape, even at 70 or so! Like Jess, I think I'd still melt if she spoke to me.

I don't know, but to me, it looks like all her gear is just fine.
Oh to have such gear.
CP that is the nicest story I have heard in a long time about a celebrity. She has always seemed such a class act. Thanks for sharing that.
Settle down boys. Her "gear" is nearly 70 years old, gotta be down to her knees by now.
Too funny, Rita!
