Red Green

This research could have a dramatic effect on the lives of many. Some pilots restricted to "Day VFR only" could be set free to fly with the rest of us.
Exciting stuff.

Dang.

Good news, don't get me wrong - but I was looking forward to a deep and revealing discussion about a certain old comedy show...

You know...

Gene therapy sorta bothers me. Don't get me wrong, it's great that they're fixing problems like this one...

But still.

I thought of old suspenders when I chose the title, Cary. I enjoyed that goofy show too.

CJ, I echo your thoughts, but we're heading inexorably in that direction so we might as well get used to it and keep an eye on the system so we can shout "FOUL" when geneticists step over the line.

I heard a report the other day about a fetus that was removed from Mom so surgery could correct a problem. The baby was then born normal.
We can't, (nor do we want to in most cases) stop medical progress.
The questions about what is proper and what ain't are gonna get more and more complex, aren't they?

It's head spinning.

No, we don't want to stop medical progress - as long as that progress does not violate God's will.

Funny thing - I happened to catch the "New Red Green Show" episode last night where he was making a motorcycle and sidecar, and they were trying to raise money by preserving/selling/selling tickets to blow up the old smoke house. Now, that's funny, I don't care who you are...
