I guess my problem, ddf, is that any sentient human could see this coming. (I always liked Sarah Silverman and THOUGHT she was intelligent and funny. Surprise, surprise!)
Obama spent his formative years in a Muslim country. His very close relationship with Palestinian supporter Rashid Khalidi was well publicized before the election.
The only conclusion I can come to here is that Jews truly are self destructive. Disagree?
When I watch the video I see young, foolish, inspired Democrats who bought the Hope & Change propaganda. If I recall, there were even some "Vets for Obama", and other such groups. No, I don't see it as Jewish self destruction, but more naive political views coupled with irrational hatred of Republicans (GW). My question is, when do we expect these folks to realize the consequences of voting for the blank check called Change.
I have Jewish friends. They think I'm nutso for my concern for our country. They offhandedly say "Oh, Bubbie told me every generation has its challenges... so? this one's ours." And then they shrug their shoulders and laugh it off. "You worry too much", I'm told.
You would think that knowing how their grandparents, aunts and uncles fled Eastern Europe for the relative safety of America during Hitler's reign of horror, they'd be the ones most vigilant and on guard. Just the opposite. Instead, they've become ostriches, preferring to shrug their shoulders before sticking their heads in the sand. They just don't want to hear it.
And the numbers of Jews I personally know who voted for Obama blows my mind as much as the number of Catholics.
It amazes me. It truly does. The mental image of sheep to slaughter comes to mind.
