The Enemy of My Enemy...

I don't know much about Rick Perry, but I have learned this:
Trial Lawyers are frightened enough of him they have
formed a Political Action Committee to put obstacles in front of his campaign.
So the John Edwards' of the world don't like him?
That says it all, doesn't it?
I think I may like him A LOT!

Well, I think there are plenty scared of Perry. I think he could be a good candidate. I have a few issues that I am trying to overcome.
His weak border issues.
He used to be a Dem and supported of all people, Gore.
His socialistic usage of making young girls have a mandatory injection of the drug Gardisil. Following up on the drug, it has caused deaths and severe reactions.

Same for Huntsman, him, I don't trust. Having supported Reid with a $25,000 donation a few years ago and then finding a job for one of Reid's sons. Gotta problem with his loyalty.

But, back to Perry, I do like it when anyone makes a lawyer squirm.

He's addressed those issues GH, and I forgive him. We are never gonna find a perfect candidate...
Perfect for you wouldn't be perfect for me. What we have to do is nominate someone obviously better than Obama...
Someone, say, like Pauly Shore.

Have no doubt, whomever they put out there to run against this muslim /socialist, I will support 110%.
Right now his numbers are tanking, but with a billion dollars and the WH and the Media behind him, we are going to have to give it our all, and I intend to.

If I were a Republican, Rick Perry would be my top choice right now.

Unfortunately the Republicans betrayed me too many times over the last three decades as I voted them into office again and again only to see them do the opposite of what they said so many times.

I'll still be voting Libertarian, but if there were no other candidates to vote for and the only choice was Republican or Democrat I'd definitely participate in the Republican primary and vote for Perry. Better a slow train to hell than a fast one.

Old NFO, I misread your comment as "Add 'Adam' West as VP..." and was thinking Batman would make a great VP, since the current pres is the Joker...

A few things that we as Conservatives -- if that's how you may classify yourself -- need to realize:

There are forces that exist in order to craft what we think of ourselves and what we need to combat.

And they craft the opposite momentum.

When Leftists and the DEM/MSM pull themselves up to fight an individual candidate or a series of candidates I ALWAYS ask the question: WHY?

Is it because they REALLY object to the particular candidate -- ?

Or is it because they want to PURPOSELY MISdirect Conservatives to another direction?

We need to be aware of BOTH of these motivations.

I have to admit I'm not happy with everything Gov. Perry seems to be but, I don't believe there is such a thing as a perfect candidate. He does seem to be a head above the rest at the moment.

Nowadays, I don't think being a single issue voter is where we need to be at this point in time.

the golden horse, you have to remember that President Reagan was once a democrat too!

For that matter, hell, I was a Demorat once.
