Back in the good old days I could-
-Turn on "Headline News" and get news headlines 24-hours a day.
-Click "The Weather Channel" and find out what was happening in weather all over the U.S. at any time of the day.
-Check out "The History Channel" and learn me some history, instead of watching people lose money at a Pawn shop in Las Vegas, NV.
-Tune in MTV and watch the latest music videos, NOT some idiots on the Jersey Shore.
Money ruins everything, doesn't it?

We were having some severe weather brewing, so I turned to the Weather Channel for some info. There was nothing about our weather, even though severe weather statements were issued by NOAA, but I did learn wrecker drivers get cold in the winter.
Yep, now it's all talking heads, no real news, and maybe 10 minutes of weather in a one hour broadcast... sigh
We cut the cable over a year ago. It takes some hunting through the Roku box,but it beats the crap out of the broadcast stuff.
And we save about a hundred dollars a month.
