Thank you all. I got a call two days ago from O.P.D., and through tears he related how glad he was that his bride was no longer in agony. Now he'll need to adjust to not having the more-than-full-time job of caring for her.
Be at peace my brother... You know I love you. Ya done really good.
My Thanks to all of you for the warm thoughts and prayers and support these last 5 months. It is so gratifying to have great friends, brothers and sisters who you have never met, but I know would be such very good friends.

ReplyDeleteDeep sighs and unabated yearning for months to come. I feel for him. It's never easy. Never. My sympathies...

Our condolences to you, SJ, and BB. Be the rock he needs right now, amigo.
ReplyDeleteYou tell Ole Prairie Dog to take care. He and his wife are in our thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteThis is what happens when we are LUCKY enough to grow older.
Every day I see a sunrise, it is a blessing.

Just from reading some of OPD's words, I know they must have had an amazing 43 years. Time that only a few get to experience.
ReplyDeleteMy blessings to him.
Thank you all.
