Second Verse... Same As The First !

The new Taurus SHO is in our garage. It looks EXACTLY like the old one, except the new one has a moonroof.
It's weird. Turning the old car "out to pasture" after five years of faithful service actually made me sad. And there are just enough niggling little differences between the old and new to keep us on our toes for a little while.

It smells new.
What's that worth? :)

Last night, Sara jean asked, "Do you know anyone else who has bought a new vehicle exactly like their old one?"
I commented that in a way, this SHO is like the way the old VW company used to work-
Very minor year-to-year changes, improving all the way.
We've already noticed a few things... unfortunately they're more cost-saving things for Ford than improvements.
But the GPS navigation is new and updated. We have a new 3-yr warranty. This car came with $1000 of new tires I would have had to buy. The old SHO's 5-yr old battery and starter fob batteries are gone.
And we rode home last night with the new moonroof open.
Money is a tool. It's good to be able to use a fine tool!
