I apologize for the paucity of posts, but I just haven't had the inclination and situation together to facilitate writing.
I'll try to rectumfy that.
Soon.
The bike is in the bed of the truck.
In the A.M. we depart Eastbound.
God willin', we'll be in Manassas, VA tomorrow (Tuesday) evening.
Wednesday morning we hope to join two million of our bestest friends on two wheels in D.C..
Denied a permit to rally, I can foresee many of us having some sort of minor problem that necessitates a stop and check.
Often.
Watch the news.
I'll wave.
I promise.

Good on you, you politically incorrect............
Maybe you can clarify this. Fr. Wat I've read n the fb page for the Two Million Bikers, the permit was for a no-stop ride. I interpret that to mean they were asking for an escorted ride to permit them to ignore traffic likes, much like a funeral procession.
If that's the case, then I understand the denial of the no-stop ride. I cannot imagine how many patriots will show up on their bikes that day. To allow all of you great guys to not stop though the lights, I would imagine that could create a humongous traffic jam in DC at the same time thousands of others wanted to pay their respects are visiting the city.
I don't see the political bias in denying the no-stop ride, I see that as purely logistics.
Tell me what I'm missing.
God Speed our biker patriots.
Be bloody careful, mate. No telling what the PC/DC Police have planned for the inbound patriots.
Too bad the scoot doesn't need a jack handle as standard equipment...
We're in quarters in Manassas, (Tuesday eve.)
From what I have heard on the news, Rita, I think you're right...
They denied an escorted ride through town.
And I think they'll regret it. An escorted ride would have caused a BIG bottleneck.
But thousands and thousands of bikes running around loose MAY be worse.
We'll see.
