You know, I've always wondered why the temps here in PHX were so much higher than they had been - until I learned that the weather station is at PHX international, surrounded by tarmac , planes, buildings, etc.
Also explains why no rainfall is recorded there while everywhere else is getting measurable traces.
Crap, I could've told you that. It's one of the worst kept conspiracies in the world. The IMPORTANT temperature is about 8K up...
Oh, yeah - up there where REAL men get the WORK done, right?
