They're both Private services and consider each other competitors.

I've only done one fly along, so I can't say how well they work with each other. Considering the fact that I worked with one of those services and have never heard anything bad about the other, I think they're doing okay.

As far as what I wear to protect myself from the elements, I wear a thick winter coat. There's also two blankets in the trunk, just in case it all goes ass over teakettle.Epijunkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11095408875283368443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12452759.post-11959555626444757712008-12-08T19:19:00.000-08:002008-12-08T19:19:00.000-08:00GB -You know, one of the first things I do when go...GB -

You know, one of the first things I do when going on any sort of road trip is shed the jacket... and I live in the frozen north. I also have been known to shed the jacket while on patrol.

You've given me something to think about, my friend. How often do you calculate fuel burn / center of gravity in your car?

To be honest, if I lived in a cold climate and had a car with a working heater, I would probably just use the heater out of convenience, and carry a jacket in the back seat for when I got out.

I wouldn't really consider it entirely worthwhile thinking about all the minutiae that could go wrong in a car, and mitigating every single risk.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12452759.post-20344582039835804652008-12-08T07:25:00.000-08:002008-12-08T07:25:00.000-08:00Thanks for the life saving reminder! Thanks for the life saving reminder!Steve Skinnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04782753143511525884noreply@blogger.com
