Crossbows?

I'm in the market for a quality crossbow, powerful enough to use hunting deer.
Any advice about quality/price/power would be appreciated.

    Doing research I'm seeing most higher-priced crossbows shoot somewhere in the 300-375 fps range.
    How important is it to be more powerful?

    Sorry to say, I'm no help. 3 shoulder separations kinda took me out of anything bow and arrow wise...
