On the other hand, I'm a child of the 50s and 60s. Where I lived, in Sacramento, near McClellan AFB, we heard planes taking off and landing multiple times an hour. Every DAY.
It was the sound of freedom.
Now, actually seeing ONE military plane is an anomaly.

ReplyDeleteBeing not far from Patrick AFB, booms are not too unusual here in my neck of the woods in Florida.
